Around I in 6 couples have problems conceiving.  Research indicates that acupuncture is effective in improving clinical pregnancy rates.  At Equilibria we offer both individual and couples fertility acupuncture treatments and individual reflexology treatments along with advising on diet, herbs and supplements.  We do advise where possible treatment of both partners as infertility can affect both male and female and in 1/3 of cases a male factor is identified along with a female factor, or the cause can’t be found.  We also advise that you prepare for 3 to 6 months of treatment as this helps to aid and regulate menstruation & ovulation, also the cycle of maturation of new sperm production takes around 74 days.
